FAQ
1. When opening Scene Editor from LCC Studio, it shows an account mismatch?
- If LCC Studio and the standalone Scene Editor are logged in with different accounts, the system will display a prompt. Follow the instructions to switch to the same account.
2. How do I change my password?
- Password changes must be done through the web portal. You cannot change your password directly in Editor.
3. How do I use the digital human? Can I change the animated character?
- To use the digital human, switch to "Digital Human" in the view switch. Collision must be enabled in Settings.
- The digital human's origin point can only be changed while in Digital human mode. Therefore, changing the origin point in First-person mode does not sync to the digital human.
- Changing the animated character is not supported. Users can implement custom characters through the Developer SDK.
4. How do I set up scene jumping in versions after LCC 1.11.1?
- Create a project in My Projects, import two model scenes, then click the Annotation feature. In the annotation settings, select "Jump." The landing point is the Origin Point — you can set the landing location by changing the origin point position.
5. Can PLY point cloud files exported from Lixel Studio be loaded in LCC?
- No. PLY files in LCC require 3D Gaussian models. Point cloud PLY files cannot be loaded.
6. LCC Scene Editor window can only display in a small window and cannot be resized. What should I do?
Troubleshooting steps:
- Update to the latest version: This may be a fixed bug.
- Update graphics drivers: Display-related issues should first be investigated via drivers.
- Check OpenGL version ≥ 4.0: LCC Editor requires a higher version graphics API.
- Set the application to "High Performance" mode in graphics settings: Windows Settings → Display → Graphics Settings → Set LCC Editor to High Performance.
- Check multi-monitor/scaling settings: High DPI scaling may cause window anomalies.
